Life Lately....

Well, today is 2 weeks since I got my new ride! I got a GMC Terrain from Wright Motor Co in Lufkin. If you are shopping for a vehicle go see them! They will not lead you wrong! I am so grateful for Austin for finding the exact color(mocha) and model of the Terrain I wanted. Also, to the different sales peeps(Rob and Jordan) that taught me the ins and outs of my new ride!!

There are so many things I love about my SUV. One of my favorite things is the gas mileage and it rides so smooth! Last weekend we took the new ride on a road trip to Tulsa for Val's wedding! We had 5 girls in the car with plenty of room with all of our bags! I love having On-star, we got so spoiled to calling and asking them for restaurant choices. They always gave us AWESOME places to eat at!

Well my family is going to be on a different Journey.... As many of you know my Uncle Robert has Krohns disease, he has had it for years. Well his wife my Precious Aunt has been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. We found out a two weeks ago and I have to admit that at first I was just mad that she has to go through this and then my heart just broke for my aunt and uncle.
During times like these you go through different emotions and I can not tell you the peace the Lord has given me as we all have waited for the results if the Cancer had spread.. and PRAISE the LORD it has not. On Thursday she will start her Journey with the Chemo every week day for five weeks.. Then Aunt Nan will have surgery. Please be in prayer for her and my Uncle as they go back and forth to Houston for treatments and for the financially cost of all these treatments.

Have you ever wondered why God shuts a door and you don't know why. I have to start this story by telling you in August the Lord clearly told me that I did not need to be a table group leader and of course I fought it... Telling God that my girls were Seniors and Etc.... And little did I know that the reason I needed to be able to be in Lufkin more to help my family through this journey! Ive loved being able to go home more and just getting to spend time with my family!

God Bless,
Jenn
