Just Be You!!

Just Be YOU

The Lord has placed different “Just be” statements on my heart.

I’m excited to start sharing what God has been teaching me. I’ve fought posting these because what will people think of me, etc.? Most importantly, my hope is that these will encourage you to keep seeking the Lord.  On my heart this week I want to encourage to you to:

Just be… YOU

A month ago I got to stay with my friends kids and be their fun fake aunt.  While talking through our plans, the youngest child came back to the table with a waffle with whip cream so high it looks like a mountain and chocolate chips everywhere.  We look at her and I say “Just Be You”!

For so many of us, we are so scared to take the leap of FAITH to do what God is calling us to do. We let insecurities creep in like “You’re not good enough”, “You’re just going to be disappointed if you do this”, “This idea will never work”, “It’s going to fail”, etc, etc. We let Satan beat us down.

Or maybe you get caught up in being and doing like everyone else.  When we get caught up not being who God created us to be, it drags us down.  When we get to this point, we will miss out on who we were created to be.

We have to change our thinking and go back to scripture of who Jesus created us to be.
Psalms 139: 13-14
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

Just Be You- We need to take time to Praise the Lord in how he created us!

Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

We need to not be scared to take the steps on what God is calling us to do.  I have to admit for 2 years I stopped blogging because I believed the lies of Satan.  I still say Lord, are you sure you’re asking me to do this…  But I cannot compare myself to others because that is not of the Lord and keeps me from impacting the Kingdom.

A new week is upon us: Ask yourself if you are “Just Being You”.
Are you doing what the Lord is calling you to do?
Use a sticky note and write down scriptures that will help you grow in your walk with the Lord.  Place them in areas of your house, car, or on your desk for daily reminders.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!
God Bless,
Jenn
